Veo 3 is a monster in its own world. It has changed the limits of AI Video. It exists in a class of its own. Simply because you can prompt video, sound and lip sync together.

Now that we have settled that, let’s focus on Seedance 1.0.

As a pure AI Video tool, how good is it?

What is Seedance?

Seedance is an advanced AI video generation model developed by ByteDance, a Chinese company known for owning TikTok. Seedance excels in creating high-quality, cinematic videos with smooth motion, precise prompt adherence, and native multi-shot storytelling, allowing for cohesive narratives across multiple scenes.

Seedance has features for text-to-video and image-to-video. Currently, it comes in two variants:

• Seedance 1.0 Pro supporting higher resolutions (up to 1080p)

• Seedance 1.0 Lite optimized for speed and lower compute at resolutions up to 720p.

The model supports video durations of 5 or 10 seconds and is accessible via platforms like Freepik, Replicate, fal.ai, and VEED.io.

It also has a model for AI Art, which we will be testing today. First we are going to generate an image, and then we will animate it. I will provide both prompts.
